Today was definitely a difficult prompt for me, but not because I dislike the color green (no, that would be tomorrow- I'm not a blue fan at all!). I own TONS of green polishes, and they're all just gorgeous!I don't have an accurate count, as I'm currently purging for my blog sale, but I would guess that my green polish percentage is in the double digits! Green is not my favorite color, but it is the color that I like the widest range of, if that makes sense. I have very definite opinions about which pinks and purples and greys I like, but I like ALL the greens!
After a very long deliberation, I decided to go with Zoyas. I only have three, they're all green, and I used them all :) I started with a base of Dree, with an accent of Yara. Then I taped off some stripes and chevrons, in a vaguely military inspired way (to match the Army greens, natch!) and painted over them with Shawn. LOVE how it turned out (except for the cleanup I missed! Shawn flooded my cuticles :( )

ReplyDeleteI have Yara and Shawn - the latter I got in a St. Patty's day 3 for only $8 promo but they arrived AFTER St. Patty's day which was sad..but I have worn all 3 I got anyway...there are some greens I love but look only like St. Patty's day green or Christmas green - I am trying to learn how to use them on other occasions to get use of them. Funny as green is a fav color of mine and has been since I was a kid - but green polish is hard often for me to wear - I need to try it more as an accent nail color tipped with another shade I think..nice job here on your tape mani
