So IN GENERAL I'm not much of a fan of metallic/foil-y finish polishes, but I do have a few that I THINK qualify, and if they don't, I don't care, because my finished nails still look very metal-y. And even- completely unintentionally- Dalek-y! I will definitely have to revisit this mani with the end result in mind :)
I started with a base of LA Colors Cactus, which is a blackened purple-greenish color with heavy golden shimmer. It's just to die for! I then freehanded a stripe down the center of each nail using Essie Penny Talk. I hate it as an all over polish, but it really is amazing for nail art. Finally, I used a dotting tool to run a line of dots down the center of the copper stripe using China Glaze Agro.
